My Design Process
A Step-by-Step Approach, From Research to Results
1.
Understand Project Scope
I kick off by assessing the project scope, the user or business problems it addresses, and the objectives we want to achieve.
2.
Research
Once I have a clear grasp of the product and project, I conduct user research to understand the audience’s needs, pain points, and behaviors, while also analyzing competing products.
3.
Analyze
After completing my research, I analyze the findings and brainstorm to identify the most valuable ideas, concepts, and features for the product.
4.
Design & Prototype
At this stage, I create detailed designs and interactive prototypes informed by the insights and concepts generated from my research.
5.
Usability Test
Here, I bring in users who reflect the target audience, study how they interact with the product, and document their feedback to improve and refine the design.
6.
Hand off
After finalizing the iterations, I prepare comprehensive design documentation to support smooth understanding and collaboration, then hand everything off to the development team.
